Co-directors Sam and Peter (Ped) have both worked at the pub previously under different ownership. When the opportunity arose of taking onboard this fantastic pub, they thought the prospect of bringing life back to the pub was simply irresistible.
Sam and Ped’s depth of experience and knowledge of managing high-quality operations across Cheshire and beyond is unsurpassed and widely acknowledged within the community for their passion for delivering a fantastic range of beers, spirits, and wines with a service philosophy that is based on our customers’ needs, remaining personal, and always inclusive.

Em
Sam and Ped’s working partnership is infectious to all, and Emily soon joined the duo to lead the front of house. Emily is a true local residing in Bunbury.
Emily also has the unenviable responsibility of keeping Sam and Ped in order, so that they don’t get too distracted by their other passion…motorsport.
Matt
Meet Matt, our Head Chef. With a passion for fresh food and understanding how to get the best out of ingredients. Evidence of this is Matt is a former winner of Taste Cheshire’s Young Chef of the year and has been a finalist of World Skills – Culinary Arts category. When he’s not in the kitchen, Matt can be found behind his PC screen. An avid gamer he spends most of his free time sharpening his virtual skills to relax after a busy shift at the stoves.
